Syria

Protesters in Syria
After 8 mouths of protests and violence in Syria  it has not gotten any better. In a united nations report it states that over 3,500 people have died in the violence. The protest were inspired by the success of Tunisia and Egypt in the beginning of the year. The violence started in mid-march when the government started a violent crack down on protesters. Since then it hasn't gotten better. Even after pleas from other countries to stop the violence, the presidential family of 40 years didn't listen. It is only getting worse as the goverment is attacking the city of Homs with all of it's force. It seems that it is becoming a real civil war with sadly many more deaths.  The future of this country does not look bright, but we can only hope that this violence will end and the people can live happily.
